We are a family business with over 40 years’ experience, offering advice in Mortgages, Investments, Pensions, Retirement Planning, Estate Planning and Protection.
We are based in the village of Winterslow which is some 7 miles from Salisbury, we have purpose built offices in a wonderful rural location, but we also offer client meetings at home.
Over the past few years our small family firm has developed significantly, we have a long association in the financial services industry Director Nick Rowe has some 40 years of Financial Services experience. In 1973 Nick took over from his father as the local ‘man from the Pru’, he took the step to become Independent in 1987 and since then has not looked back. We now trade as Rowe Financial & Insurance Services Ltd but retain the family interest and personal service.
Nick remains a Director of the firm and remains involved all be it to a lesser degree.
Russell Rowe joined the Business in 1993 straight from Education, Russell holds the Diploma in Financial Planning. He too is a Cemap Qualified Mortgage Adviser as well as holding the Equity Release requirements to provide advice in this field. He is also a now a member of the Institute of Will writers, allowing him to provide advice in the world of Will writing and probate issues.
Becky Rowe joined the team in 2010 and subsequently become a Director. Becky is a fully qualified Cemap Mortgage/Protection Adviser and Office Manager running the Business on a day to day basis.
We previously offered Motor, Home and Commercial Insurance we will no longer provide this service with effect from 1st December 2021, however, there will be a changeover period and any cases will be processed on a non-advisory basis until December 2022.
We have recently employed Darryl Robins who will shortly become a trainee adviser. He has years of experience in the customer service field and is currently underway with the required qualifications moving towards full Diploma status in the years to come. Darryl is working under Russell’s direct supervision in an apprentice capacity.
Our compliance manager Jackie Bayford has been with us for over 20 years, Jackie keeps a good oversight of our business and ensures we adhere to all the regulatory requirements.
We have a very knowledgeable and experienced administration team. Richard Mann joined us in September 2018, Richard brings a long time period of financial services experience as well as a detailed knowledge of technology and is involved in the planning side of our business. Our administration team is lead by Claire Mitchell who joined us in April 2019. Claire has over 20 years’ experience in financial services administration, she is ably supported by Holly Mitchell, Claire’s daughter, Lisa Rowe, Russell’s wife and Linda Sullivan, both have now been with us for several years.
We believe we are well placed to provide both quality advice and an excellent level of service to both our existing clients and our new clients.
